Hexo returns! { Forrest }
As stolen from Rampancy.net (hey, Claude made me do it!):
Once upon a time (a year ago), there was a plucky little mapmaking group called Hexographica. These plucky fellows had just released a neat little map called Discovery. This map introduced a new unit, the heavy cavalry. And it was good.Sounds pretty cool, so go check it out!But they wanted a little bit more than that, so they set on a huge project often referred to as Warlords or Siege. This project would have dragons, pikemen, griffins, catapults and other happy things of mayhem. And so they created a bunch of maps with those creatures of mayhem, and nearly finished them. And it was good.
Unfortunately, from that summer of 1999 to the present day, the various Hexographica members were captured by Venusians, exiled to island nations, and/or swallowed by giant mealworms. That was bad.
How we escaped from those foul conditions is a long story, but the good news is that Hexographica is back to release these neat maps and prevent our work from being yet another piece of vaporware.
We are soon to release our now year old opus. Warlords, a grandiose four player map with six new units, individual forts with destructable walls, reinforcements, the works, along with the accompanying Hexotagset 2. Along with this great release, we will release If It Doesn't Move... Kill It 2, a sequel to an old FFA map that has meshes of light, dark units, along with some of the Warlords units and a Bushido mesh.
But for now, check out the Hexographica website at www.hexographica.com/myth
Yet Another Mythmaster Central Update { Forrest }
Yep, another one. Ok, so they're not THAT frequent anymore. Bite me, doughboy.
Er, sorry 'bout that. Anyway, Asmo sends in a sequel to his last film, with some rather funkadelic script-shaggin' goin' on. Check out Mythmaster Central!

New Creation Map { Forrest }
From Ares of Creation:
Creation announces release of "Behind the Library"Check it out!Soma's Behind the Library is a symmetrical city netmap taking place in Covenant, with fountains, buildings, statues, pillars, streets, and a raised central square. With 2, 4, and 8-team versions of Light and Dark maps supporting all game types, it is very versatile.
Also featured in the download is a scripted solo map from Ares with unique and desperate gameplay, with a great "Coming of the Dark"-style story and Soma's artwork complimenting it.
Creation's recent releases have been huge downloads, so we thought that the feeble of modem might appreciate this under-3-meg download.

Creation Releases Homeland II! { Forrest }
From Ares:
Six months ago, Creation introduced you to Homeland. The map has remained a Mill Must Have from that day to this, and has logged thousands of downloads.You know I work with Creation and all, and so am obviously biased, but I feel right in telling you this is map leans toward the cooler end of the spectrum, in more ways that one. :-)Now, Creation finally announces the release of Homeland II
This level concludes the epic of the last great battles of the War against a new, yet unthinkably old rival. Features include:
- Detailed, illustrated, narrated story, new flavors, and in-game cinematics expand and conclude the world of Homeland
- Huge winding level with < 300 to > 700 enemy units for great diversity in difficulty level.
- Three totally new units in addition to the three Homeland new units, for a total of six new characters.
- Built-in biodegrader and smart-scripting for less coop lag and 100% Windows compatibility.
More than any other previous Creation release, Homeland II succeeds in capturing the desperation and the flavor of the original Myth campaigns by Bungie.
