This level has one real easter egg, a sort of easter egg, a few unused lines, and a cool little bit of scripting.
|
On the island to the north, you will find a model resembling one of the statues from the real-world Easter Island. In fact, they are
even named as such in the tags. |
This little hut to the far south, on the west bank of the river, plays a continuous loop of "Bungie Bungie Bungie Bungie Bungie Bungie Bungie,
[marching band music] BUNGIE RULES!" The song is called "bs" (for "Bungie Song", get your mind out of the gutter), and is within the sound
tag "island". |
At the very end of the level, one of your archers will say "That HAS to be it, right?" after defeating a big wave... and then these fellows
sneak out of the river and ambush you. |
| Finally, there are two unused subtitles: "It's going to burst. Run!" and "Great view from up here!". It's not known who says them. Also of
note that a couple different "Damn!" sounds that your archers will choose from during the level: anxious, exhausted, frustrated, and impressed. |

Legends and Lore is really Forrest's baby, though Gholsbane probably does more work on it nowadays. It also contains a lot of work from the Myth Nontoxic days whose exact authors have been lost or forgotten. Some of these lemurs include Joshstar, Orange, Lacrymosa, and poena.dare. Original "Journal of the Legion" concept by poena.dare and Hamish Sinclair. Other authors are credited as appropriate in their individual articles.
