THE SIEGE OF MADRIGAL |
This is level three of Myth: The Fallen Lords. |
Go to the Journal for literature and interpretation of the level. |
This is a story about unsuspecting warriors discovering what the
rest of us cannot even conceive. Our story begins near the captured little
town of Comfort.
Here at the far reaches of the map, our story finds a ragged force
of soldiers tirelessly marching up a hill, uncertain as to where
it leads. Their mission is to walk where no man was intended to
walk, and go where no myth unit has gone before...
Maybe these brave men will find that place full of bright lights
and bare-breasted thrall, you know, the place where your spiders
and soulless go when you try to be cheap and kick the ball up the
border slope of a netmap so no ground units can get it, but you
slip and fall off the edge.
Here you can march your whole army, ground troops and all, right
off the edge of the world. Don't be stupid and let it happen to
you unless you are actually trying, heh.

Legends and Lore is really Forrest's baby, though Gholsbane probably does more work on it nowadays. It also contains a lot of work from the Myth Nontoxic days whose exact authors have been lost or forgotten. Some of these lemurs include Joshstar, Orange, Lacrymosa, and poena.dare. Original "Journal of the Legion" concept by poena.dare and Hamish Sinclair. Other authors are credited as appropriate in their individual articles.

Myth at Bungie.org is now maintained almost entirely by Gholsbane and Zandervix; Forrest is (theoretically) still around calling the shots when he can be bothered to check his email, and Claude, as always, OWNZ U. Original Nontoxic webpage design copyright (c) 1998 by Joshstar; updates and revisions mostly by Forrest. Many thanks to all those old Nontoxic munkies - you know who you are.
