Myth Wars

Myth wars was originally created as an idea for something extra to do for the Asylum people. The first game lasted about three or four turns and ended for a summer while Ducky decided to make some huge revisions to the game system. The new game began August 20, 2001, and should last at least for the rest of the year.











How to Join: If you want to join, just send me an email and tell me. You probably won't be put in the game immediately, since there are already enough players. If somebody's status says they are up for replacement though... you can try to replace them.

Turn Four
The dwarves were sorely defeated in their homeland by the forces of Balor and his minions. This battle seems to have nearly wiped out the dwarves. A small group of dwarves has escaped the enemy, though, and is continuing to fight. The Northmen are now fleeing before the might of the Watcher, and regrouping in the northlands. The dark seems to be driving their enemies back to the west rather quickly now.
 

Turn Three
The third turn was mostly inconsequential. There was a small skirmish on the ghol lands, ending with the Lurker taking it back from the dwarves. The Dark abandoned the great city of Muirthemne, and started moving out to dominate the rest of the land. Two of the light factions did nothing this turn, which means bad things for the light.
 

Turn Two
The Dark armies invaded the city of Muirthemne, and destroyed the Cath Bruig empire. Now all that is left of the massive city is a pile of broken buildings and corpses. In the meantime the armies of light have been less active, moving about their areas and recruiting armies to combat the imminent threat.
 

Turn One
As the beginning of the war progressed, the largest army ever seen on the world began amassing in the North-East. The Cath Bruig, unaware of the threat, continued on it's peaceful existence. The Dwarves, under Albrecht, took the offensive with the pesky ghols, and took over the homeland of the nasty critters, although they could not find the main army of Darkness. Throughout the known world, things started to go awry.

The armies of the dark gather in the north east to begin their domination of the land, while one Fallen Lord moves towards the dwarves from the Untamed Lands. The Free Cities of the North, recently, have had problems with rebelling provinces, and the nation has split, but the largest cities are still under the strong leadership of the Nine. The barrier around Muirthemne at the same time as the rebellions in the west turned from the lush grassland into a barren desert. Emperor Cassius is worried, but determined to end the scourge of the Leveler. His general Daniab, meanwhile, is slowly dying because of a rare internal rotting disease. He hopes that this war may be his last.
