Yet Another Corporation Redesign
- [ Forrest | 13:11 CDT ]
From the Corporation newswire: The Corporation has redesigned itself again! With any luck, this will be the last time. We're moving from a daily news post format to an article/review/feature/column format, and to kick it off we have several items of interest. 1) An exclusive interview with Jason Fitzgerald, Studio Marketing Manager for Shogun: Total War, which can be found here: http://www.corpnews.com/features/200007/23/ 2) An article about Bungie fans and how they aren't really Bungie fans. Ouch. It can be found here: http://www.corpnews.com/columns/200007/23/ 3) A review of Shogun: Total War, which can be found here: http://www.corpnews.com/reviews/200007/23/ I can see the flames coming already for that second article...
TFL Physics Plugin v2.0
- [ Forrest | 12:43 CDT ]
From Badthrall of Creation: Even though Myth 2 has much better graphics and has a much better interface then M1 will ever get, we lost what was so great about Myth and that is the physics from TFL... Well now you'll get those great physics from the "TFL Physics Pluginv2" into Myth 2 from Creation! Some Features include: -All melee units pathfinding has been upgraded around to .400, meaning that there will be no such thing as clumping in this plugin and it will make melee battles look a lot cooler not to mention realistic. -Satchel charges now pound the earth below giving it a much better effect like it was in TFL. - All string lists / descriptions from every unit that was in Myth:TFL has been added with M2 string lists/descriptions. -Much more! Brand new featues like: -Fetch when firing shows bolts and sparks when they hit the ground or enemies. -Berserks have new attack sequences. -Satchel charges when exploding now show smoke being blown out . -Much much more! Expect getting some great FFA/Team/Coop games with all these new and revised features on this plugin, It's a much better game! Check it out here!

Top 10 of June
|
|
Wow, non-MMC news!
- [ Forrest | 15:20 CDT ]
From the Corporation newswire: The Corporation has posted the first half of its "Top 10 of June" feature. These brief articles are among the funniest stuff the Corporation has to offer, so be sure to check them out. They can be found here. Articles include commentary on the MS-Bungie acquisition, the fall of Daikatana, the Napster situation, and how much we'd all like to watch Jar-Jar die the bloody death he deserves. Remember that several members of The Corporation once worked at Mythology (once rated "most bullshit free" by our own Joshstar). Not to mention that they have an article on The Aquisition, so check it out!

MMC Chimera Division Completed!
- [ Forrest | 1:50 CDT ]
Talk about out of nowhere! Have you ever heard of Wade "Deep Thought" Duym? No? Well neither had I until last night. And guess who he is? The winner of the Mythmaster's Challenge Chimera Division! Yes, you heard right. In the wee morning hours of Saturday, July 1st, A.D. 2000, "Deep Thought" submitted to us a set of eight films, all for Chimera, all at least four laws, making him the first person to ever win a Challenge on his first day of entry! Congradulations, Wade! Now that all the divisions are finished, don't go wandering off into TV land. Stay glued to that monitor and keep vidding! The Grand Championship has barely begun! Asmodeus, our current leader, may have all of TFL done, but he's still got nine Myth II levels and five Chimera levels to go. The Wolf Pack, right behind them, has all of Myth II and all but three of Chimera, but no TFL at all. Following behind them are Face, Ares, Soulblader, Gollum, and now Deep Thought, each with around 8-12 Challenge-worthy films done. As Wade just showed, it's certainly possible to come from behind and win! And next time around you could win big, getting a free item of your choice from the Bungie store! (Well, a free purchasable Bungie or formerly Bungie product of your choice, or select non-Bungie-but-Bungie-related items). Check out Mythmaster Central!
