Asylum Nites

Since no substantial games have been played at this time, no films are available of our real-time discussions while playing co-ops.

Organizing Asylum Nite

Come here to try to figure out how to make Asylum Nite accessible to everyone.

One of the greatest traditions of the Old Asylumites was to meet weekly and play under a new phase of the moon. Cooperative maps were usually used as the fields of game, and helped to stress that cooperation was a key element for the Asylumites, not competition.

That theme once appeared to have been lost, as the Asylumites began quarrelling and bickering amongst themselves far too often, offending long-time friends of the great Myth Discussion. The Inmates, it seemed, had retreated back to the padded room, locked away in solitary confinement, and were not around to remind the other Asylumites of what ideals the great institution stood for.

But the duration of solitary confinement had ended, and now the Inmates were once again free to socialize and discuss. The Inmates of the Asylum re-began their old traditions in their resurrected order.

Asylum Nite was returned just as promptly to the key adjenda. Now the Inmates stage the weekly games on weekend nights, dancing under another phase of the moon.
